Snorkelling is a popular pastime on Great Keppel Island as there is an abundance of fringing reef surrounding the island. Guests can hire snorkelling equipment from the Watersports Hut. Many of the neighbouring snorkelling beaches are within walking distance.
Ask your friendly staff for a map of Great Keppel Island and we can point out the best snorkelling spots. We recommend wearing walking shoes for the bush walking tracks to the beaches.
If you prefer a more laid back snorkel experience, we offer the Adventure Cruise and Combo Cruise with snorkelling included.
Our ferry takes you to the best snorkelling location on the day (not easily reached by walking tracks). Snorkel right off the back of the boat. All gear is included and our experienced crew are happy to guide and assist first time snorkelers.
